Three Travel Tips for Traveling to Naples, Fort Myers, or Cape Coral Florida
Southwest Florida International Airport serves hundreds of flights daily. The environment is constantly buzzing with people arriving early and waiting in lines or people arrive late, running, and then waiting in lines. In today’s security centric world, travel can take hours longer than you’d like it to. What doesn’t have to be a pain, however, is your transportation to or from the airport. Below are a few tips and tricks to ease the traveling experience.
Travel Tip #1: Plan for Plenty of Time
Our taxi cab drivers in Fort Myers, Naples, and the surrounding areas are fast, and we know our routes. However, we’d like to get you to the airport with time to spare. Take a load off of your mind by simply planning for a little bit of cushion room. That way you can enjoy the ride as you listen to your favorite music, read a book, or make a few last minute phone calls before you have to board your plane.
Travel Tip #2: Check the Back Seat before You Leave
We know people like their smart phones and their laptops. How do we know this? Because we get calls from people who forgot them in our cabs and want them back. We’re more than happy to help you get your belongings back, but a quick check before you get out of the cab can save you from wondering where in the commute you left your wallet. Was it in Dallas? On the Plane? Did you drop it in the airport? Save yourself the stress! It’s nice to feel relieved that everything is okay when you find your things, but we’d just as soon that no one feel stressed out in the first place. Always having a designated coat or pants pockets for certain items when you travel can ensure that you don’t do something you’ll regret, like leave your keys in our cab because you were fidgety.
Travel Tip #3: Our Cab Drivers Know a lot- Use Them
It’s stereotypical, really: Cab drivers know an area like the back of their hands. Despite that, we’re surprised how infrequently people ask about fun things to do in town. If you’ve arrived in Naples and want to visit the beach, or eat somewhere fun and unique, simply ask for some advice. We love to engage with people and help you out as much as we can, but at the same time, we don’t want to be bothersome; so if you have a few questions, ask way. We’d be more than happy to be of assistance.
